100-Man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru Season 2 Released a Promotional Video

Via the official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of the manga 100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru (I'm standing on 1,000,000 lives), a new promotional video for the second season of the project was revealed. Apart from presenting slick scenes and several new characters, this PV also features an opening song entitled "Baddest" by Virtual Youtuber Kaede Higuchi.

The second season is scheduled to premiere in July and is done by the previous studio, Maho Film. Meanwhile, the first season of this anime has aired since October 2020 with a total of 12 episodes.

Staff:

  • Kumiko Habara (Chi-chan Castle !!, Battle Spirits Burning Soul) as director at the previous studio.
  • Takao Yoshioka (High School DxD, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, Konohana Kitan) is in charge of writing and supervising the script.
  • Eri Kojima and Toshihide Masudate (Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni) are in charge of character design.
  • Satoshi Yano is in charge of directing the music with Ken Ito who composed the soundtrack.

Synopsis:

Focuses on Yotsuya Yuusuke along with his classmates Shindou Iu and Hakozaki Kusue who are teleported to a foreign world and inhabited by mythological creatures. As soon as they arrived, they met someone who called himself a Game Master who then gave them a quest with a time limit.To assist them in this quest, he also bestowed Shindou and Hakozaki with the roles of a Magician and a Warrior while Yotsuya was randomly assigned the role of… a Peasant. ?!

It is a busy life of adventure started by three students who have no choice but to cooperate and complete random missions with several phases in a fantasy world, if they are to stay alive and protect the real world from the demons and monsters they face.

Naoki Yamakawa and Akinari Nao began publishing the manga 100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru through Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in July 2016.Kodansha released the tenth compiled volume on September 9, and will publish the 11th volume on December 9.
