10th Anniversary Video of Novel & PV Teaser Date a Live IV Revealed

Site for fourth season of anime adaptation of novel by Koushi Tachibana and illustrator Tsunako, Date A Live IV showed its first teaser video on Friday afternoon (19/03). Fourth season will start broadcasting in October 2021. Today is also celebrated as 10th anniversary of serialization of novel, and Tsunako as illustrator is releasing an illustration of celebration.

A video celebrating 10th anniversary of serialization of novel was also released today. This edition of video is devoted to character Tooka Yatogami, voiced by Marina Inoue. Two other videos featuring comments from voice actress Kotori Itsuka, Ayana Taketatsu and voice actor Kurumi Tokisaki, Asami Sanada will be released on March 26, 2021 and April 2, 2021, respectively.

Koushi Tachibana launched his Date A Live light novel series in March 2011 with illustrations by Tsunako. Fujimi Shobo's Imprint, Fujimi Fantasia Bunko has published its last volume or its 22nd volume on March 19, 2020. Spinoff novel Date A Live Fragments: Date A Bullet was launched by Yuichiro Higashide and illustrator NOCO on March 18, 2017. Fujimi Fantasia Bunko has published novel's 6th volume on March 19, 2020.

First season of Date A Live aired in spring of 2013 with a total of 12 episodes. Animation studio of his first project is AIC Plus +. For its second season,  animation studio moved from AIC Plus + to Production IMS. Second season aired in spring of 2014 with a total of 10 episodes. Anime adaptation of third season of Date A Live aired this winter and totaled 12 episodes. J.C. Staff became animation production studio, after Production IMS was declared bankrupt in October 2018.

Film Date A Bullet was adapted by studio GEEKTOYS and is divided into two parts. First part began screening in Japan on 14 August 2020, and second part on 13 November 2020.
